DPI: Dots per Inch

The number of dots per inch of your raster image.

This tells Autotrace what real size to define the image to be. For a 100 x 50 pixel image, a 1-DPI image will generate a 100in x 50in image. Sorry, there are no Dot Per Millimeter options.

If you want to make the output image a certain size, you can specify a DPI value to be what you want.
