Companies will have the ability to demonstrate to a targeted audience their latest product offerings for building content and applications using SVG. Decision makers will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technical developments in the delivery of content and applications using Scalable Vector Graphics.
Workshop Presentation Tracks
Update: The tentative presentation track schedule has been filled out.
The workshop will last two days. Visit the presentation schedule
for the list of registered presenters and information about their planned presentation topics.
Each participant is expected to present a talk in one of the tracks. However, we have reserverved a limited number of spots for participants who do not plan to speak at the workshop. The fundamental concept and purpose of the workshop is to share information between professionals, the cornerstone of this sharing being the presentations.
Talks can cover any SVG-related subject including:
- Product offerings
- Statements of need
- Case studies
- Show and tell
- Discussions about issues
- Directed search for answers
The spring 2006 European SVG Workshop took place at the Hotel InterContinental Zurich
you can find options for hotels, maps, as well as tourist information.
The SVG Europen Workshop is specifically aimed at professionals in Europe working with SVG on the desktop and mobile spaces. Talks are to be aimed at decision makers, technical architects, and SVG-aware technical advisers.
The intent of the workshop is not to offer detailed technical presentations. In order to maintain flow and general interest, presenters wishing to offer talks with a large degree of technical detail are invited to present 10-minute lightning talks.

The cost of participating in the workshop is EUR200 for one day and EUR350 for two days. Due to feedback from interested persons, a limited number of spaces is being made available for participants who do not desire to make a presentation but wish to attend to gather information.
