Arbitrary Navigation Toolkit

This is a GPS-enabled navigation server which offers the following features:

  • publish lat/long position using any NMEA-compliant GPS
  • interface with Google Maps to show current GPS position
  • interface with World Map Service to show a satellite image of the current location
  • Build your own Ajax-based arbitrary navigation system

The toolkit is made up of the following components:

The toolkit is extensible, written in Perl from open-source components, and has been tested on Linux. It is based on an stand-alone webserver which reads NMEA data from a GPS.
